Seminole Chamber of Commerce - Central Oklahoma Frontier Country

Seminole Chamber of Commerce

Since 1928, the Chamber has been promoting Seminole and its growth. Seminole sprang from the shale and sandstone which became home to the Seminole Nation when Oklahoma was still known as \Indian Territory.\Its wide-open terrain once served the purposes of outlaws who roamed the range in search of their ill-gotten gain. The Greater Seminole Area was one of Oklahoma's 22 \giant oil fields\ and continues to be a viable part of our state's economy. Our city has a diverse workforce and is to home to various and vibrant industries including oil field production and servicing, apparel, manufacturing, meat processing and others. Whether you prefer indoor or outdoor activities, Seminole offers a variety of facilities to stimulate your brain and tone your physique. Golfing, two area lakes, three museums, eight great parks and twelve lighted baseball and softball fields are just some of the wonderful amenities you'll find. When it's time to relax, you're covered.
