Situated at the crossroads of I-35 and I-40, the 12 central counties of Oklahoma, known as Frontier Country, offers an abundance of events, attractions and destinations to entertain the whole family this spring.

Take the kids over to the National Cowboy & Western HeritageMuseum this spring break, March 14-18 for Spring Break Activities. Each day from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. the museum will have make-and-take activities to keep you busy while school is out!

It's Spring BAKE Camp! Do you love cake, cookies, and ice cream? Our animal friends do too -- but with different ingredients. Help us make tasty treats and deliver them each day for the animals to enjoy. Allergy Alert: Camp activities may include peanut butter, dairy, eggs, wheat, nuts, and other possible allergens. Let your family explore the Oklahoma City Zoo with their Spring Break Day Camps, March 14-18. There are half day, 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and full day, 8:00 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., spots available.

Head over to the Oklahoma Hall of Fame at the Gaylord-Pickens Museum on March 17 for Third Thursday: Thunder Up for OKC. On the third Thursday of each month the museum offers a story and craft with free admission. Story time begins at 10:00 a.m., followed by a craft for the entire family.

Join the Oklahoma History Center for the fifth annual Cowboy Round-up on March 19. Cowboys and chuck wagons will bring the cattle drive era to life for visitors of all ages. Special activities include rope making, Dutch oven cooking, side shows, and more!
