Dates are subject to change.

CENTRAL OKLAHOMA – Visit Guthrie for a variety of events happening the first weekend in October. The annual Oklahoma International Bluegrass Festival with headliner Vince Gill is Oct. 4-6 at Cottonwood Flats and the Guthrie Escape: Art, Wine & Music Festival is Oct. 6-7 on the streets of historic downtown Guthrie. Other events include the Zombie Bolt through downtown Oct. 6.

Yukon celebrates Czech heritage with the Oklahoma Czech Festival Oct. 6 in downtown Yukon. Beginning at 8 a.m., this free festival includes a parade, carnival, crafts, live music, Czech food and a coronation. A dance at Czech Hall will be the finale at 8 p.m.

Lyric at the Plaza presents THE MYSTERY OF IRMA VEP Oct. 10-27 at the Plaza Theatre in Oklahoma City. Two actors take on all the roles with dozens of lightening quick costume changes in Charles Ludlam’s high-camp comedy. This sidesplitting spoof pokes fun at all that is ridiculous in Gothic horror, Victorian melodrama, and classic movies, plus it’s a contender for the funniest American play of the last quarter-century.

National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City hosts Cowboy Crossings Oct. 12-13. Cowboy Crossings, a major lineup of fine art exhibitions and sales, includes the Cowboy Artists of America (CAA) 47th Annual Sale & Exhibition alongside the Traditional Cowboy Arts Association (TCAA) Exhibition and Sale, now in its 14th year. The combination offers collectors of Western fine art an unparalleled opportunity in one location.

Experience a one-of-a-kind shopping extravaganza for all ages at An Affair of the Heart Oct. 19-21. Located at State Fair Park in Oklahoma City, An Affair of the Heart features several buildings of arts, crafts, custom furniture, jewelry, clothing, home décor, seasonal items and much more. Admission is $7 and covers all three days of the show.
