CENTRAL OKLAHOMA - The Oklahoma City Philharmonic's annual Christmas celebration is back. A Chesapeake's Very Merry Pops! runs Dec. 4 to 6 at the Civic Center Music Hall in Oklahoma City. Sally Mayes and Erick Devine will star in this production with new sets, scenery and musical numbers.┬ ┬ ┬ ┬ ┬ ┬ ┬ ┬ ┬

The Harn Homestead brings the a Land Run Christmas for children to enjoy during the Territorial Christmas Celebration held from 5 to 8 p.m. Dec. 4. Tour historic buildings adorned with 1880s holiday decorations and enjoy treats, crafts and a visit from Santa.┬

El Reno offers two options for celebrating the season. Christmas on the Western Frontier is old-fashioned Christmas parade, trolley rides, storytelling, Santa's workshop, carolers, and the lighting of the Christmas tree in downtown El Reno on Dec. 4. While, Historic Fort Reno offers an unique celebration of cultures with carols, Santa and reenactment performances during the Fort Reno Christmas Guns Celebration on Dec. 21

Step back in time, as Guthrie comes alive during the Victorian Walk Evenings held Dec. 13 and 20 as part of the Territorial Christmas Celebration. See living Christmas cards, browse shops, enjoy carriage rides, Christmas treats and 19th century Victorians strolling through the historic downtown.
