CENTRAL OKLAHOMA – Check out The Scene With Ronnie Kaye Sept. 4 starting at 7 p.m. at the Oklahoma History Center in Oklahoma City. See performances by The 5 Americans, Jim Edgar and the Roadrunners and reunion of the funk and soul group Uptown Syndicate. Indulge in homemade German food, German beers and wine and real German music Sept. 9-12  at Choctaw’s Oktoberfest in Choctaw Creek Park. The largest festival of its kind in central Oklahoma promises continuous live entertainment for all ages. For more information visit www.choctawfestival.org.

Learn about historic Fort Reno and the post cemetery Sept. 26 at Fort Reno’s Tombstone Tales in El Reno. Performances start at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. with a chuck wagon lunch at noon.
