The following is a truncated list of events occurring in Frontier Country:


CENTRAL OKLAHOMA – The Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art is teaming up with the Salvation Army and regional artists in the fight against hunger. “Doing All We Can to Help” is an exhibit with artwork that references canned foods including artworks created on cans or from can materials and artworks that include representations of cans. The exhibit is on display through Nov. 22. Admission is free for each visitor donating one canned food item. For more information visit www.mgmoa.org

Explore the new exhibitions, “Sooners in the Land of Enchantment” and “The Creative Eye,” while enjoying hands-on art activities, live music and independent film at Art “à la CART” at the Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art in Norman Nov. 13 from 6-9 p.m. in conjunction with the Norman Arts Council’s Second Fridays Circuit of Art and campus art walk.
