CENTRAL OKLAHOMA – Entertain mom on her special day by taking her to one of central Oklahoma’s Frontier Country restaurants, shops or attractions, which are offering plenty of freebies and discounts in honor of mom.

Take mom out for some fun May 10 at “Marvelous Mom’s Day” at the Orr Family Farm in Oklahoma City. Everyone can enjoy train and carousel rides, an animal barn, arts and crafts and a maze. Moms receive a free Old Time photograph and can mine for their own gemstones.

Start Mother’s Day by treating mom to a special lunch at Nonna’s Euro-American Ristorante and Bar from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 11. Don’t forget to visit The Painted Door May 10 from noon to 4 p.m. for “T-Shirt Day” where you can buy a signature shirt and receive 20 percent off one item. Also, enjoy entertainment by Edgar Cruz, food samples from Oklahoma cookbooks and new products from Ahava Essential Dead Sea Treatments.

After lunch entertain mom at one of three attractions in central Oklahoma that are offering free admission for Mother’s Day.
