Veteran's Day Activities Around Central Oklahoma
Veteran's Day is coming up and many central Oklahoma attractions and cities are honoring Veterans with parades, free admission and more activities. Here are a few events happening in celebration of Veteran's Day:

Info: The Gaylord-Pickens Oklahoma Heritage Museum is celebrating Veterans Day with free admission for military, active or retired with military identification, and their immediate families. Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information: www.oklahomaheritage.com

- November 11 Veteran’s Day at the National Cowboy Museum
National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, Oklahoma City
Info: Veterans will receive free admission to the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum on Veteran's Day with free admission for up to six people. All active duty, active reserve, Ready Reserve Service members, National Guardsman, Coalition Forces members and retirees, American Legion members and VFW members are eligible for free admission and may bring up to five guests. Day Freedom Run

Info: The sanctioned 5K Run will adhere to USA Track & Field Rules. Day of registration and packet pick up will begin at 6 a.m. and the run will begin at 7:30 a.m. Early registration is available at www.signmeup.com/87167 and is $25. Day of registration is $30. Entrants will be placed in age brackets where the first, second, and third place winners will receive medallions. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Warriors For Freedom Foundation. The parade will begin at 10 a.m. Parade will begin at Century Boulevard and SE 15th St. Parade will go east on SE 15th St. to Douglas Boulevard, north to E. Reno Ave., west on E.
