CENTRAL OKLAHOMA – For the first time, Choctaw’s Oktoberfest is extended to two weekends – Sept. 2-4 and Sept. 7-10 in Choctaw Creek Park. Old Germany Restaurant, the City of Choctaw and the Choctaw Chamber present 30,000 square-feet of tents and pavilions of family fun with German food, beer, wine and dancing. The 33rd Arts Festival Oklahoma is Sept.3-5 at the OCCC campus in Oklahoma
City. The free family-friendly festival features original artwork and
handicrafts, live performances, a diverse selection of foods and crafts for

Mustang’s 35th
annual Western Days festival is
Sept. 9-10. Western Days includes a rodeo, live music and entertainment,
carnival, pancake breakfast, western stampede run, car show and more. For more info and full schedule of

The Oklahoma City Storytelling Festival, produced by the Arts Council
of Oklahoma City is Sept. 9-10 in downtown Oklahoma City. The free festival
celebrates the ancient art of storytelling with nationally-acclaimed
storytellers, workshops and special performances. For more info:

Historic Fort Reno in El Reno
hosts its annual Tombstone Tales
Sept. 17 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Historic re-enactors portray individuals
interred at the Fort Reno Post cemetery between 1874 and 1948. Enjoy a chuck
wagon dinner followed by guided walks through authentic 19th century

Join Thomas the Tank Engine for a Day Out with Thomas Sept. 23-25 and
Sept. 30-Oct. 2 at the Oklahoma Railway Museum in Oklahoma City. Meet Sir
Topham Hat, enjoy storytelling, live music, build with Lego Duplo bricks and
