OKLAHOMA CITY- Frontier Country Marketing Association will hold its monthly "Hour With an Expert" marketing meeting 10 a.m. April 23 at Frontier City in the Opera House at 11501 N.E. Expressway in Oklahoma City to discuss the bus and group tour market.
Todd Stallbaumer, travel development manager at the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department, will be the guest speaker. Stallbaumer will discuss national trends in the bus and group tour market. Also, Stallbaumer will share current contacts within the industry to help Frontier Country members increase their share of bus and group travel business.
"Bus and group travelers can be viewed as a captive audience and one that we can label as the 'cherry on top' of the tourism pie," said Jana Ivy, director of marketing and graphic design at Frontier Country Marketing Association. "They are already looking for a place to visit or to conduct business. We just need to provide the pie for them to land on!"
The marketing meeting is free to all Frontier Country members and $10 for non-members. Call 405-232-6552 by April 21 to RSVP.
