CENTRAL OKLAHOMA - Indulge in a variety of wines and cheeses at the 2nd Annual Wine, Cheese & Polo Festival Saturday Oct. 25 at the Tatanka Ranch near Stroud. Enjoy Lincoln County wineries, an exhibition polo match between Oklahoma State University and University of Texas, live music, artisans, carriage rides, unique merchants, specialty foods and Oklahoma cheese venders. Celebrate Halloween at the 13th annual Spooksville at 1:30 p.m. Saturday Oct. 25 at the Yukon Community Center. Spooksville includes a costume contest, haunted house and a carnival featuring clowns, face painting and games. There will be candy, treats and fun for the children. A special "Dog Costume Contest" will be held just prior to the Kid's Costume Contest. Admission is $3 per child.

Saturday Oct. 13, the Red Earth Museum is hosting the 13th Annual Allie Reynolds Memorial Red Earth Golf Tournament at the Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club. The tournament benefits year-round educational programming at the Red Earth Museum and festival. The tournament is a fitting tribute to Oklahoma Native, Muscogee (Creek) Indian Allie Pierce Reynolds, one of the founding fathers of the Red Earth Festival, New York Yankees baseball legend and 2009 candidate for the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, N.Y.

Sorghum Day, Saturday Oct. 25, in downtown Wewoka provides fun for the entire family with craft and food vendors, Native American Demonstrations, live music, car shows and a barbeque cook-off.
