In addition to FREE admission to the interactive Gaylord-Pickens Museum, activities include the unveiling of the 2015 Oklahoma Hall of Fame inductee portraits, an inflatable, food trucks, I Am Oklahoma Children’s Series book signing, interactive crafts and the 2nd Annual Young Entrepreneur & Artist (YEA) Market.
Holiday excitement and free family fun are in store as this year’s City of Yukon holiday festivities begin on Saturday, November 21 at 6 p.m. Included are the grand opening of the 20th Anniversary of Christmas in the Park drive through Christmas lights tour, the annual Chill Your Cheeks 5K Run and the Jingle Walk. Other events are scheduled during the holiday season.
Thousands are expected to turn out for the 50th annual Oklahoma Czech Festival in Yukon Saturday, Oct. 3. Festival goers will literally get a taste of Czech culture including food, music, dancing, traditional costumes and imported merchandise. This year the City of Yukon and Oklahoma Czechs, Inc. are working together to make the 50th festival extra special!
