Chickasha

Chickasha is located 30 minutes southwest of Oklahoma City on the H.E. Bailey Turnpike. Between 1867 and 1884, over four million head of cattle made their way along the Chisholm Trail. The natural springs in Shannon Springs Park were a water source along the trail for millions of cattle and the thousands of trail hands who drove them. The natural springs still flow today at Shannon Springs Park.
