Info: Merlin Little Thunder (Southern Cheyenne) will provide one-on-one instruction in this acrylic painting class. A participating artist in the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum's annual Small Works, Great Wonders® Winter Art Sale, Little Thunder will instruct students on creating a finished miniature landscape that will be matted and, if time allows, framed. Workshop suitable for grades 9-12 or first year college. Skill Level: beginner to experienced. Tuition: Members $170, nonmembers $190. Needs-based scholarships available. Limited enrollment; advance reservations required. 9a.m. to Noon
