Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art

The Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art is one of the oldest museums in the state of Oklahoma. It was  founded by Fr. Gregory Gerrer, O.S.B., a benedictine monk with considerable artistic talent who traveled throughout Europe, Africa and South America collecting objects of artistic and ethnological value. The Mabee-Gerrer Museum is widely known as the  home of Egyptian mummies & ceremonial objects. The museum hosts special exhibitions, community days and special events.
